Ervey Dominguez and Family

This fund is setup for Ervey Dominguez and his family, wife Sonia and sons Luis, Victor, Ervey and Mario.  Ervey is a loving husband,father, son and brother.  Ervey is a good, hard working man who loves his family, enjoys watching his sons play sports, loves music and is a talented drummer.  He played drums for several local bands some of which earned national attention.  

Ervey was diagnosed with a stage 4 glioblastoma muliforma brain tumor on March 23, 2018.  He underwent surgery on March 29, 2018.  A month after his surgery he started multiple treatments of radiation and chemotherapy.   Ervey and his family kept an optimistic outlook.  Unfortunately in March 2019 an MRI showed a new tumor.  Ervey underwent another round of a more aggressive treatment of chemotherapy.  On May 28, 2019 Ervey and his family were told a most recent MRI showed the treatment was not effective and the tumor was resistant to the chemotherapy.  At that time they were informed Ervey should be in hospice care.  Ervey is home currently in hospice care. Sonia, his wife has taken leave from her job to stay home and care for Ervey. 

 
Ervey works for South Valley Drywall, Inc as a Drywall Hanger, celebrating 25 years of service this year.  Ervey is a talented journeyman who shares his extensive knowledge of the trade in teaching and mentoring others. 

 This fund will help the Dominguez family with life expenses as they cope with Ervey's terminal illness.
