Please help my son to achieve his dream

Donation protected
My son Eru is a third generation in my family that has taken the career path for boxing, he has been inspired by his grandfather and aunty who have also done very well in the elite sport. My son Eru has always dreamed of being a pro boxer since he was young, he has always had that raw passion for the sport in the hopes of one day being The Youth National Champion Boxer. My son Eru has been selected by Auckland Boxing Association to fight in the New Zealand Nationals for Amateur Boxing in Hastings this October of 2019.

My son Eru fights and trains at the Wreck Room in Auckland Central six times a week and dedicates a lot of his time into the sport, which he has proven time and again that all his hard work pays out proving that he can be the best. My son Eru has been a huge role model for his younger siblings and even the wider community, Eru was awarded the prestigious Consortium Dux Award in 2017  for overall top student and his transformation success, in result of that Eru was nominated to attend the Prime Minister's Youth Programme in 2018 which involved him having dinner with Rt Hon Jacinda Ardern herself.  My son Eru has accomplished a lot of things in his life but his most recent one is winning The Golden Gloves North Island Championships which was held in Taupo  on June the 2nd, where he took out the title of Youth Male Novas 69kgs. Eru has won 5 of his fights out of the six, Eru has won by Unanimous Decisions and Knock Outs but also took one loss in his last fight, to a fighter who has had 45+ fights. This goes to show my son Eru is willing to do anything to achieve his dream and prove to anyone how much potential he has, whether he fights someone who is at the same level as him or a fighter who has a lot more experience and more wins then my son. The result of my son proving himself in everything that he has achieved in the last two years he has been selected to fight in the New Zealand Nationals for Amateur Boxing in Hastings this October of 2019. So with everything in life there comes cost of things.

The reason I have come to gofundme because we live in Auckland and the tournament is in Hastings. Me and Eru's father and his siblings would really love to be there to support my son through this journey for this tournament. The reason we are funding is because my son Eru needs to get food for his special dietary requirements and his transport and accommodation for when he goes to Hastings, Eru will also need to get new equipment as well as paying for his uniforms. The reason we are seeking this much is we also have no accommodation or any form of transport as well as being able to eat for the 3 days we are in Hastings for, we're also hoping that we could use the money that is donated for our tickets as well through out the 2 day Tournament. We understand we might not make our goal but any little bit counts and this is a huge help for me and Eru's father, if their is a possibility that we might exceed our goal we would love to use the extra money for Eru's future tournaments or anything he may need for his boxing career. In hopes of one day we could start a Foundation for young people in New Zealand who want to be boxers or who aspires to make it big and have the potential to be successful in boxing.

Just would like to say thank you for taking the time to read this and for anyone who donates money I would just like to say I really appreciate it and I know my son Eru would as well, you have no idea how much this means to us and what this could do for my son, you guys will be helping my son achieve his dream and that means the world to him.
