Support my 10-Day Mission Trip to Jamaica!!!!!!
I want to share with you an exciting challenge that God has presented to me. He has given me the opportunity to go on a missions trip to the island of Jamaica with a young adult group called The Good Life Network.
From October 21 through October 30, “The Good Life Expedition” will take us across Jamaica, spreading the gospel and making a difference, while learning more about the people and their culture.
God has opened up this door for me to develop a greater heart of compassion for His people around the world, and the exciting part is that you too will be able take this journey with me in several ways:
1) You can be involved by providing financial support for me personally as each team member needs to raise $1,600 to make this trip.
Would you consider supporting me with a small donation?
Possibly a gift of $50, $100 or $150, but of course, any amount is more than welcome.
2. You can add further support by donating towards the outreach initiatives of the mission on a whole.
Our efforts include:
- Renovation of a community center in “South Side” one of the less fortunate inner-city communities in downtown, Kingston
- A Praise Festival in the streets of South Side
- School items for over 300 children
- The Launch of a computer lab at the Port Antonio Primary School in Portland, Jamaica
3. We need your support in prayer for entire Good Life team as God prepares us to minister to the people of Jamaica.
Here’s a small prayer list:
- Pray that our financial needs will be met as we need to raise $1,600 each to attend this trip, and that is quite a challenge!
- Pray that our outreach initiative costs will be met
- Pray for our safety during our travel and exploration
- Pray for the community of South Side and the Port Antonio Primary school, that God will prepare their hearts and the environments for ministry
- Pray that every member of our team will have a life-changing encounter with God
I invite you to take this journey to Jamaica with us. Even though you might not be actually boarding the plane, your prayers and financial support ensures that you will be right there with us.
Whether you feel led to contribute financially, through prayer, or both, any support is appreciated.
