The Wedding of Brian & Ashley

Brian and Ashley met under magical conditions. They danced their way into each others lives. Their romance has spanned nearly 4 years and they have walked the path of timeless love, companionship and honor. Their love has been seen as an inspiration and a delight to friends, family, community and bystanders.
As they have dedicated their love to the timelessness that reaches through the ages and pulls from their strong sense of ancestry and community, they have a desire to have their bonds of marriage completed in the old ways.
They envisioned a two day ceremony, honoring their families, their loyal friends, tribe and community. There will be feasting, dancing, ceremony, music, fire and drums. This is an all out Scottish Highland-Welsh Handfasting Wedding Ceremony.
Because no land and feast hall could be found in Whatcom County that would let us dance, drink, eat and hold ceremony, we are building our own!
They visioned the perfect property and it came to them through a friend. 20 acres of beautiful meadowed and forested land. Perfect for their celebration.
Now we need help building our Feast Hall for this Wedding. We need funds to rent the pavillion/tents, fill it with tables, chairs, lights, and food.
Imagine a large canvas pavillion with torches blazing, filled with candles, flowers, greens and tapestrys. I deeply meaningful interactive ceremony followed by a feast and then dancing and merryment. There is a lovely tent/pavillion set up for the bride and groom to retire too at evenings end. Plus all the camping available for those who wish to stay on into the wee hours of the morn to celebrate! Plenty of beer and mead.
So instead of your traditional wedding gift or cards,we are asking for a contribution to go to the rentals of the materials needed to pull of this epic wedding! Please help make our dreams come true. Help us walk into our future with the beauty and magic we so love surrounding us from head to foot.
