I am reaching out to you again on behalf of the Shoda family. As many of you know our sweet Maiko Shoda left us on April 1st, 2017 at 8:25 pm. She was going to be 40 years old this month.
She leaves behind a loving husband Brian, a beautiful 6 year old boy Enzo and many family and friends that adored and will miss her dearly.
Nothing we can add could come close to alleviating the profound loss and sorrow which Brian, Maiko's family and Enzo are suffering at the moment. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of them.
Since losing Maiko many of you have been gracious in asking how can I help or what can I do?
As you probably know, Enzo was Maiko's pride and joy! She always wondered who he'd become and what he'd do in life. His happiness, growth and education were always very important to her.
If you are still looking for a way to help and express your sympathy, memorial contributions can be made here to help build Enzo's future. While the prior Go Fund Me was raised to support the Shodas thru the caring of Maiko and her family during a very difficult battle, ALL the money raised here (minus Go Fund Me fees) will go toward ensuring that Enzo gets the college education and future opportunities that Maiko wished for him.
On behalf of the Shodas and myself we all thank you ahead of time for recognizing the difference your small financial sacrifice will make when aggregating it with all the people who had the tremendous fortune to have known Maiko.
We will celebrate her life and honor her legacy which will remain alive and well through the smile and future of her Enzo.
