We are students from Bloomfield Hills High School as well as several other high schools around Oakland County. We're raising money to pay for the student-organized 2018 Democratic Gubernatorial Debate on March 11th at Bloomfield Hills High School and also to support student activism at multiple Michigan high schools.
One of our projects is raising money to purchase more Parkland shooting memorial shirts which we are selling at high schools to raise money to donate to the families of the victims and to Every Town. These funds will go to paying for these shirts as well as to getting kids the resources they need to plan forum events with their representatives. The money raised from T-shirt sales which will be donated to the families of the victims will be donated via gofundme and proof of the transaction will be posted on Engage18.org.
$1,150 would not only cover the price of renting the auditorium out for the debate but also allow us to purchase 250 new T-shirts.
