ENDLESS ABILITIES FOR CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES is a movement geared towards aiding the disabled with their needs after the exhaustion of all insurance and special funding services. ENDLESS ABILITIES also serves as a resource aid to those who may need help following through with insurance and special funding service protocols. With government funding for the disabled community being constantly cut and the Medicaid rules and regulations for purchasing products and services for our disabled being so strict, the need for programs like ENDLESS ABILITIES FOR CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES is at an all-time high.
Young men like Christopher Footman Jr., diagnosed at birth with Dandy Walker Syndrome, a brain malformation which affects ones coordination and mental development skills, is one among many of our youth that will benefit from programs like this. Specialty car seats, wheel chair modifications, communication devices, horse therapy, water therapy, and Botox therapy are just a few among many products and services not covered by Medicaid. Products and services are constantly being developed to make independent living for people with disabilities and the family caring for their disabled loved one easier. These products and services do come with a price attached and getting funding from Medicaid and special funding services can be a challenge.
We walk in the name of children like Christopher Footman Jr. Through ENDLESS ABILITIES FOR CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES monies collected from this 15k walk will go toward the purchase of these products and services. The walk will be Saturday July 23, 2016 in Polk County on the Bartow Trail in Bartow fl. After the walk there will also be a fun event for all the kids in the community or anyone that attends the walk. We will have information about products and services that are available to families with special needs loved ones.
