End of Watch for Robert “Red” Taylor, USMC

Donation protected
My father, Robert “Red” Taylor, passed away on January 11, 2019 at his home in Galliano, LA. Red was loved by many and was known for his tireless work over the years with Veterans, most notably his brothers from the USMC. Red was a combat veteran, and was part of the “Walking Dead”,  and a survivor of the Tet Offensive during the Vietnam War. He was a proud recipient of three Purple Hearts and various other distinctions during his service. Red then spent over two decades working on the riverboats down on the Gulf Coast, which included participating in clean up efforts after the Deepwater Horizon well explosion. Despite this, he left this world without any provisions or benefits to cover expenses.
Red was born and raised in New Jersey. My uncle John, his brother, and I would like to have a proper memorial service for him in his hometown, and have him buried with his mother. We are asking for his friends and brothers for help in reaching this goal.
