We have not been able to raise the funds to reopen our small retail store, so we are starting the process of liquidating all merchandise and fixtures. If anyone is interested in renting a 800 sq. ft. retail space in a high traffic area, or want to buy a lot of small items for a very discounted price, or store fixtures like bins, counters, cash register, computer networking equipment, and supplies, please let me know.
We have an opportunity to reopen a small 1200 sq. ft. (includes 400 sq. ft. warehouse) retail space in a good location in Glenn Heights, TX. We had a good business going at this location up to 4 years ago when a new property owner shut us down as he did not want our customers on his property. Now, another company has purchased the property and has indicated we could reopen a retail store.
So, this may be our opportunity to get back on our feet by having a public space to sell merchandise, our marketing services, and special fund raising events.
Of course, the opportunity comes with a cost. It will take us a little over $2,000 to bring the space up to city code, like replacing the heat/air conditioning, ceiling lights, plumbing repair, and other requirements.
So, again we are trying to raise money, either by donations, or from possible investors.
