Frank is our beautiful 3½ year old boy. He is the light in the room & the joy brought to our lives. Three days after his 3rd birthday, Frank received the diagnosis of his autism. This did not & does not define him but it does bring about challenges for him. Frank faces these challenges happily and with a smile on his face.
The waiting list for the early intervention services in Fingal is 22 Months, which is nonsense. While he waits on the list, Frank also attends on-going private therapy services. Frank loves animals, both Farm and Zoo. He loves music and singing and he loves his school, Bizzy B's, where they love him too. He recently qualified for funding for one to one assistance in his school. Unfortunately, the funding being offered to Bizzy B's to provide the service is inadequate & finding a person suited to the job & more importantly suited to Frank has proved difficult within the funding constraints.
We are campaigning for better funding to help our son receive the one to one support services in his playschool. This GoFundMe campaign forms a part of that.
They say from acorns great oaks grow, and Bizzy B's is all about that nurturing, for all of their kids. These critical early years are crucial to the opportunities and outcomes every child will have for all of their life. Thank you, Bizzy B's, for everything you have done for our Boy.
