Emuna Endeavor Saftey Equipment
Who we are:
We are two friends sailing around the world with a cat. We want to be good people and meet other good people around the world. We are also starting a nonprofit with the goal of doing outreach internationally while we sail.
The Emuna Endeavor is the journey of two friends whose cause is to take you along vicariously on a worldwide sailing trip making stops to create community and hopefully unity along the way. We are working and saving now and training this summer to be prepared to set out May 2017. For more information, check out our blog website: emunaendeavor.org
This trip will also be of historical significance! We have several firsts on board:
- First Black American woman on record to sail around the world (only the 3rd of any nationality)
- First Jewish American on record to sail around the world
- First Manx cat on record to sail around the world
SO EXCITING!
What we’re raising money for & How the money will be used:
We have a LOT to do to sail around the world. We will have the funds for travel and for the maintenance and repairs. What we are missing is the funds to update our safety equipment: survival suits, open ocean life raft, and to stock our ditch bags.
(Any funds above the goal will be used to upgrade our video equipment so we can make a professional quality web series and documentary.)
Why this means so much to us:
The goal is to find the peaceful people who are tolerant of differences and diversity. We could just fly by the seat of our pants, but we would prefer to be prepared for the worst as we hope for the best. This campaign will help us do this.

The peace of mind and safety you will help us get is immeasurable! There is no way to fully express how grateful we will be for the assistance.
