Hi friends. My name is Shawna and I'm a Special Education Advocate. I'm starting this campaign because I'm often reminded that just because our lives are stable and safe does not mean that there aren't people out there suffering.
For the past 20 years I've worked in underserved communities in the United States and in a few months I'm traveling to Ghana for my first mission trip. This is such an honor and a blessing; and ironically the mission trip concludes on my birthday.
My goal is to raise $2,500 for this trip. I know $5 isn't a lot to most of us but its the difference between life and death for the children of Ghana.
Every donation of every size matters;help us be a part of history as we participate in this annual mission trip to Ghana.
100% of all donations received will go directly to transportation and lodging.
