Empedrado, Chile Fire Victims

Devestating forest fires started in Chile over a week ago and have continued to spread south, affecting lower income and blue collar families living in rural Chile. My family live in Empedrado and the surrounding forested, rural homes and have been keeping us in constant contact with their situation. They desperatly need your help.
The community of Empedrado continues to be affected by these fires. They are a small rural community of less than a couple thousand people in the 7th region of Chile. These people have built their houses with their own two hands. They have no insurance, they will not be reimpbursed for the property damages they have sustained. As of January 24th 2017, the community memebers are continuing to struggle to put out the enormous fires. Houses have already burned down, elderly members of the community have passed away, firefighters have gotten trapped in the fires. This community lives off of their land and their livestock. The rich pine forests surrounding the community has burned down and surroudning factories have burned down, putting thousands of people of jobs.
The firefighters are trying their hardest, but with about 32 active fires spread across 8 regions of the country, priority is not being given to the rural communities.
Costs are completely an estimate at this point. Damages have not been assessed as the main priority at this moment is keeping the fires under control. At this point, the community itself has been driving around trying to put out the fires themselves. Much of the community is without water, electricity, and food for their livestock. Please help in whatever way you can.
