Emmy's Fight Against Parvovirus

When I found Emmy I knew two things: she was the cutest puppy I had ever seen, and that we would be the best of buds for a long long time.
It has been only three days since Emmy has come into my home and she truly has already become a part of my life and my heart, but unfortunately, we have received concerning news for a puppy so small and so young.
Emmy is 8 weeks old and only 2 pounds and she has contracted a life threatening virus known as the Parvovirus. Parvovirus is incredibly contagious and hugely widespread so it is a question where and how she was exposed, but what isn't in question is the severity of the situation. Emmy needs a lot of medical attention to make sure that she can fight off this virus. Being that there is no specific treatment for this virus, all that we can do is make sure she is well nourished and well protected so that she can be strong because, sadly, Emmy needs to fight this virus all on her own.
Unfortunately, this virus has made Emmy unable to keep down any of her food and has completely destroyed her appetite. She is the tiniest, sweetest puppy already and now she is rendered even more vulnerable with her being unable to take care of her body in this way. I am scared for her, knowing that dogs with this virus will struggle to make it through the other side, and Emmy is definitely on the low spectrum of physical strength and maturity. Emmy has a long journey ahead of her.
Emmy really needs our help right now. The treatment that is offered at the moment can only be supportive to her own battle - it will include her fluids treatment, her administered feedings, blood work, nausea medication, diarrhea medication, treatment for her internal infections, among possible unforeseen expenses. All of these generate their own costs daily, and the treatment could be needed for up to 7 days. We are looking at possibly 6,000 dollars of expenses for our family to try to save Emmy's life.
Please understand the support that Emmy needs right now. She is truly the sweetest little girl. Her golden coat and bright and attentive eyes reflect her sweet and sunny personality. In the few days that she has been in our home, she has shown her eagerness to meet other animals and new people. She loves to explore and cuddle and I really hope that she can be back home soon where she will continue to enjoy her life with her new family who loves her with everything.
Any help at all would be a blessing and could help aid Emmy's victory in this terrifying battle.
