Emma Withey's First heart surgery

As many of you know, my daughter Emma Mae was born with four heart defects. This condition is called Tetralogy of Fallot. July 3rd she had her first heart surgery, as she will need two heart surgeries to " repair" her heart fully. She is going on five months old and has been hospitalized almost her entire life thus far. She is currently still at Children's hospital of Detroit recovering from her first heart surgery as many complications have arised throughout her recovery. We live over an hour away from her so the finances are piling up as we need to be home with brother also as school has started up again. Any amount will help our family and appreciate it so very much. We cannot wait for Emma to be home with us but we still have a long journey ahead of us at this time. Thank you all very much. She is on her road to recovery, but such a long hard road it has been and will continue to be. 

Emma is on her journey to being able to come home in a few days and we are so excited! She will get to e home for a while before her second heart surgery when she gets older. We are preparing the home and doing lots and lots of training, we are nervous but so happy! Emma will be coming home with a trach and vent machine as she needs support with her breathing, she will also be coming home with a GJ tube that was placed on her belly. We will be having home nursing coming out to help with all of Emma's care.  We are in need of a bigger vehicle as our car is too small to get her back and forth to her many many appointments she will have, because where ever she goes all of her machines must go, along with her double stroller that is very big! We are so grateful for any donation, no matter how small, thank  you so much for supporting my family and sweet Emma! It has been such a long hard road for our family.
