Emma Nodine gunshot victim

On December 24th, around 6pm . My 20 year old sister Emma Nodine was attempting to prepare for Christmas Day by dropping off gifts and food at her home when she was ambushed in her car .once she was sitting inside, passenger side.  A car with the shooters identity’s unknown at this premeditated the attack and decided to pull up next to her car and shoot into her vehicle leaving the driver with one shot to his hand and 4 shots in my sister body. My 2 year old niece and the drivers 16 year old nephew were also passengers . We don’t know why they were somebody target that night. The gun shot to her head was lodge in the side of her head and by the grace of god did not penetrate her brain. Two In her elbow, which doctors were able to repair by placing screws in place. And one through her shoulder. Her treatment for now is antibiotics for a couple days to make sure the damaged bones don’t become infected.  She has lost some feeling in her right dominant hand that will need future hospital visits to repair. Her car was extremely damaged which she needed to get to work.  Being a waitress and working in a cell phone store. You can see how this impacts all parts of her life. In movies gun shots are made to seem like no big deal, like a bandage is applied and your all better. but an unplanned expense like this is a hardship for a small family a 20 year old single mom doesn’t expect to have to ever deal with this type of expense. The funds here will be used to relocate her to a safe place to live. Money to help provide for her while she takes a few weeks off work, medical expenses that will be 10 to 15k minimum considering the 5 days she will be at the hospital, help with childcare when she goes back to work.
