Emma and Zach Larsen IVF
Donation protected
Zach and I always wanted to be parents and started trying for a baby nearly 4 years ago. After a year and half of trying without success, we went through invasive and painful NHS fertility treatment and found out that we have some medical issues making it difficult for us to conceive on our own. When I was younger, I was treated for Leukaemia twice, and it appears the chemotherapy has left me with scaring, making it unlikely we will be able to have a baby naturally. The doctors have told us our best chance of having our own baby is to try IVF. Unfortunately, we do not qualify to have this done through the NHS as Zachary is American and it is only available to couples where both people are from the EU.
They have now said the NHS cannot help us further and our only option is to fund IVF privately. Another year and a half has passed since then but we still have not had any success. We have been saving for some time now, but the procedure is very expensive. We are continuing to save but if you feel that you can help us achieve our hope of becoming parents we would be humbly grateful.
