Emily's Healing Journey

Donation protected
After a recent diagnosis of breast cancer, Emily Klingaman, her husband Braden, and their two daughters (Harper, age 2 and Gracie, 9 months) have stepped into an incredibly challenging season of life. Three tumors — two found in Emily’s right breast tissue and one in her lymph node — are going to be immediately and aggressively treated with chemotherapy, a full mastectomy of the right breast, and radiation.

Amidst the sadness, grief, and fear of the unknown, Emily and her family are steadfast in their faithfulness to the Lord. They know Christ is their ever present companion, the healer of wounds, and that through Him all things are made possible. They look at this not as the end of their story, but as a chapter that will shape their faith, marriage, and ministry.

Because of the extremely rapid course of events (less than 4 weeks from detection to Emily’s first chemotherapy treatment) and the aggressiveness of the plan of attack, Emily is unable to continue working as a nurse and has gone on disability to focus on treatment. Because of this and the demands of fighting this disease through traditional medicine, nutrition, and immune-boosting holistic medicines, financial support for the family is greatly needed and needed quickly.

With humility and gratefulness, the Klingman family will use your generosity towards:

- Increased health insurance cost by 10x
- Increased cost of groceries due to specific dietary
requirements
- Childcare for Harper and Grace
- Naturopathic consultations and services
- Chemo Cold Capping as an effort to keep Emily’s hair through Chemo Treatment
- Acupuncture, Chiropractic, and other methods to support Emily’s immune system and keep cancer from returning

They know they couldn’t get through this without each and every one of you! They love you all so much and are eternally grateful for your prayers, encouragement, and kindness.

TO FOLLOW ALONG THROUGH THE JOURNEY:

The Klingaman's know that many of you out there will be interested in staying in the loop and updated on how Emily is doing through out the year. Braden is working on both a Facebook Page and Blog that he will keep updated through out treatment. Once those links are available, we will provide them here.
