Emily's Gender Confirmation Surgery

I've been transitioning for a few years now. Having received the all-clear from my counselor and physician, it's time to take the next step and pursue gender confirmation surgery.

I already have a date set for late this year, but will need to raise $14,000 to cover the cost. This will cover all my expenses, for the procedure, hospital stay, etc.

Transitioning is a costly process. Between that, and the usual life expenses and bills, I'm unable to raise this amount on my own by the due date. So I'm turning to this page, to you, for support.

I get that we all have our own financial obligations. And some of us -- okay, probably all -- are still recuperating from holiday shopping. So, even if you're able to only donate $5, that still puts me a few bucks closer to my goal. If you can help with more, awesome! And if you can't, I would greatly appreciate it if you spread the word. Even at $5, if enough people donate, this goal can still be reached.
