Emily's Bucketlist RV Trip

Since hearing the words "get your affairs in order" and "start knocking things off your bucket list"...I have had a lot of processing to do. After seven years of battling colon cancer, I thought I was winning. Getting the news that my cancer returned and is officially terminal has been tough on my kids and me, but we are fighters and love each other very much. We are spending loads of time together and really embracing each moment as a gift.

One of the things on my bucket list is to take my Three Little Birds (Maddie, Kate and Thomas) on an RV trip to some of our favorite spots on the West Coast. We are excited about it and we could really use the time away from our normal lives to decompress and make memories that will last the rest of our lives.

My friend, Abbi Whitaker, has taken it upon herself to help me raise funds for this wonderful trip. She doesn't want me to dip into my living expenses to be able to do it since I am out of work due to chemo treatments. She is a wonderful friend and I am so grateful for her.

If you feel like giving to my Three Little Birds and me for this trip, please know that it will go toward the memories that my kids will keep with them. I will write, like I usually do, about our adventures on the road and take tons of pictures. I would love to keep you all updated on our wonderful trip.
