Emily's soccer dream

Donation protected
Emily is 13 and started her first season playing soccer for steel United this year. She plays in the u14 boys team as well as playing up in the u17s boys team and even the senior reserves team. This means playing against full grown men. She fell in love with the game and has been obsessed with it since she started. She has won best player awards for matches in all grades throughout this season. Emily was selected as captain of the whyalla girls u13 select side recently competing at states in Adelaide and is due to compete with this same team in September. She also was asked to attend a regional ffsa camp in the April school holidays and was then asked back in the July holidays to further develop her skills. And that she did. She also attended a SWAG soccer camp recently held in whyalla which was fantastic for her confidence. She has now had an offer to be a standby for the u14 girls south Australia side going to the singa cup in Singapore this November and has also been selected to go to Fiji as part of the u14 girls South Australia team in the 2019 ultimate Fiji soccer cup.. Emily had a HUGE decision to make. To be a standby player or to go to Fiji. Well she has chosen and FIJI IT IS!! we are so proud of Emily. All this she has achieved in 1 season of soccer. If you could spare a little bit of money to help her get to Fiji she would be so grateful. This is only the start of her big soccer dream. All money raise will go directly to Emily to purchase her flights and accommodation through ultimate sports travel and events.
