Emilio's Fight Against Leukemia

We are so sad to say that on Friday, Emilio’s parents’ world was turned upside down when they found out that their son has leukemia. He has undergone some tests and they have discovered that he has a rare form of leukemia called AML. Since this is a more severe form of leukemia, Emilio has to undergo very aggressive chemotherapy treatments. He has been admitted to Sick Kids hospital and will be staying there for a minimum of four months.  This is every parents worst imaginable nightmare. 

Emilio is a very smart and sweet 4 year old boy who was supposed to start school this September. He has a beautiful older sister who is very worried about him and who loves him very deeply.  His parents are devastated but are desperately trying to stay strong and support him.

We are raising money to help his family with financial costs so they can focus on Emilio’s battle ahead and to alleviate any financial burden.  We want to take the stress of money and bills away so they can focus their energy and strength on Emilio and on what matters. Also, God willing, the family would like to get Emilio some additional care to boost his immune system (such as Vitamin C treatments which are $200 per session, and anything else that will help in his recovery).
