Hello! My name is Emilie and I am raising money for my Postgraduate Classical Singing Diploma, which started in September 2018.
I have wanted to sing since I was 5 years old, and have studied and practiced classical singing since I was 16. I have been accepted to study a Postgraduate Diploma in Classical Singing, at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, which I was over the moon to have achieved.
The course is £10,176, and I have £8176 still to raise; the Welsh Government do not give student loans for post graduate diplomas, which I was unaware of when I applied, and was granted the place at the RWCMD.
It has been my dream to study at a Conservatoire, and after ten years of hard work and determination, I have finally got there, and I am absolutely loving it; however I am unable to afford the course fees. (detailed here)

Achievements:
I achieved a First Class Undergraduate Degree in Music from City University of London, and was awarded the University prize for the highest performance grade of her graduating year. I was also accepted on to the Glyndebourne Academy Programme 2017; it was because of this I was recently awarded the Biennial Bill Weston Young Singers Award from Glyndebourne Opera house, which is given to one singer every two years. Singing is my life; I truly believe that music can enrich peoples lives, and that classical music is one of humanitys' greatest treasures, that must continue to be heard and performed.

I do not come from a musical family, I was born with my love and passion for music, and as my Mother says, I could sing before I could talk. I was raised solely by my Mother, and I am blessed to have always had her full support to pursue music as a career.
Any help from anyone will be so greatly apprectiated. I can't even convey how much it will mean. I never thought I would be in this position, (not only to have finally achieved my dreams of studying at a conservatoire), but unfortunately to need to ask help to fund it; however between now and September 2018, I am fully determined to try and raise the £8,176 for my course at the Royal Welsh College.
