Emergency Vet Bill For Petey

As many of you know, while Danielle was in DC raising her voice in protest of the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court, her beloved Petey "Pawblo" got very sick. Upon her return to Omaha, Danielle learned that Petey has blood in his urine, no appetite, and is very weak. As no vet offices were open on the weekend, she was forced to take him to a pet hospital, where she was told she would need at least $1000 to treat him. Unable to pay this amount, Danielle had no other choice then to leave him overnight at the hospital and wait until Monday to take him to a vet that might be able to treat him at a lower cost. She has already paid the hospital $237 to keep him overnight but was told she would need to pay more to get him released. Danielle is currently unemployed and unable to get her Petey the care he needs. Many of you know how much joy Petey brings to Danielle and how desperately she wants to get her boy the treatment he needs. She tirelessly helps the community, often spending endless hours of her time and energy on enriching the city of Omaha for no monetary compensation. It would mean the world to her if you, her community, could help her in Petey's time of need. Danielle does  not know about this fundraiser, as I know she would not feel comfortable asking for help.
