Emergency surgery for Pearl

Hello pigeon loving friends!
My daughter's dear friend Pearl is in emergency surgery tonight, to remove some non-food items she ate. If you have animals in your family, you may already know what it's like to have to choose between letting a beloved pet die, or paying more than you can afford to try to save them.
My child spends every spare moment she has trying to help pigeons. She has walked so many injured or ill wild pigeons through the doors of Wildcare, that the staff there know her by name. She has donated time and saved her spare change to give to Palomacy. Every writing assignment in school is dedicated to "pijucating" her fellow students about some aspect of pigeon life and why they are worthy of kindness. She is devoted to these birds.
But no one means as much to her as her beloved Pearl. Please help us; we don't expect get the full amount of the surgery and hospital bills covered by donations, but every bit will help and be so very much appreciated.
