Emergency Surgery for Adley

Donation protected
After having a routine spay surgery and a Gastropexy done on our Great Dane named Adley. We were able to pick up our baby girl from our regular vet. We noticed right away that she was very cold to the touch, (not normal for her at all). But we though it was because the OR or Recovery room was cold. The counter nurse mentioned that Adley was having a hard time. So we got her home and she was able to walk into the house on her own. Shortly after, she layed  down and started whimpering a lot. We thought she needed her meds that they sent us home with, but no, she wouldn’t take them even on a peanut butter sandwich.
Later on, her extremities were still cold, she was way more lethargic and by that time she was unable to walk.
We called an emergency vet and took her in. We had to carry all 130lbs of her to the car. The emergency vet took her vitals as soon as we arrived, her Blood pressure was super low and her heart was racing. They did an ultrasound and saw that she was bleeding out internally and if they don’t do surgery, she’s gonna die.
Then they handed us s bill for over $5000!

If you are able to help us pay this bill, we will be forever greatful. We aren’t the kind of people to ask for handouts, we are usually the first ones to step up and help those in need so this is very difficult for me to ask but we simply don’t have this kind of cash. I will post a picture of the bill and the veterinarian  hospital in the comments.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
