Emergency help for 2 poisoned dogs

Imagine you come home to Longview and find one of your dogs with marks on his face like he’s been kicked. Half an hour later your 10 month old Great Pyrenees X Border Collie collapses and has to be carried to the car and rushed to the vet. Soon after, your second dog – a Collie X Kelpie mix - collapses. Even worse than that, you find bacon laced with aceteminophen in your yard. Someone deliberately poisoned your dogs. Sampson is more than just a pet; he is in training to be a mobility assistance dog for Charlotte. The other dog, Quinn is her daugher Michaela's best friend.

Charlotte was recently laid off and has already used up her savings to start getting them help. Without hesitation she used bill and grocey money to continue treatment on both dogs.

But now, she needs help. Treatment for Sampson - who got more of the poison- will have to be stopped due to lack of funds soon. Charlotte could lose her dog who is supposed to become her lifeline, all because someone was vindictive enough to throw poisoned bacon over her fence.

I just cannot stand by and let that happen. Please help me show them there are better people in the world than whoever was so cruel and poisoned her beloved dogs. If you can’t donate, please share this fundraiser in as many paces as you can.

All money raised will be used for treatment of both dogs at the Southern Alberta Vet Emergency (SAVE)Clinic in Okotoks. If the worst happens, funds will be used for euthanasia to be sure neither dog suffers but we desperately hope it doesn't come to that.

Time is crucial. Treament for Sampson will only continue another few hours unless funds are raised.
