Emergency Funds To Avoid Being Homeless

Kristy has been extremely sick for many years now.  Above photos show her as she used to be and the second is since she became ill.  She had to move in with her father in the family home when her illness became so severe.  Her father passed away with very little warning last year.  He intended for Kristy to be able to stay in the family home but unfortunately, her brother insisted on selling the home.  Her home has been sold and Kristy has until September 15th to move. The sale of the house barely covered the mortgage and closing costs.  She does not expect to see any funds from the sale.  Kristy has a hard time with daily living activities such as feeding herself and preparing meals.  A neighbor has been helping her but once she moves, the neighbor will no longer assist her.  There is no way Kristy can even begin the task of packing.  She will have to pay someone to do this for her.  Kristy has mast cell activation syndrome which means she is highly sensitive/allergic to nearly everything.  Her diet consists of only a few things that she can safely eat.  Her sensitivities make her living choices very limited.

 Kristy has applied to rent an apartment in a low-income housing complex but there is a long list of waiting applicants.  She is desperately searching for a place to live that is low income enough for her to be able to afford the rent, as well as, a place where her life is not endangered by the chemicals being used around her.  Kristy has very little Social Security Disability each month.  She needs enough money to cover moving/travel expenses, to pay someone to pack, and pay a deposit and the first month's rent.  I am extremely concerned for my friend as she may end up living on the streets.  She has very little family to assist her with any of this and both her parents are deceased.  Please help Kristy avoid living on the streets where she will more than likely die.
