On Mothers Day the children of Wendy Appleton (Sims) spent Mothers Day over 500 miles from home in Nashville TN at the Vanderbilt Trauma Center with their mother who was in a serious motorcycle accident.


On Monday May 7th, Michigan resident, Wendy Appleton (Sims) was on a motorcycle tour with her friend Mark Love which suddenly turned into a tragedy.
Wendy and Mark were traveling on I-40 when they both hit a pothole. Mark was able to keep control of his bike, but Wendy flew up in the air and landed on the pavement of a busy 4 lane highway.


Her two children (Samantha & Kaleb) were on a flight to TN shortly after receiving the news that their mom was in an accident. When they arrived at the hospital, their hearts dropped only to find that their mom was in a coma and in critical condition. Her current condition is still critical and her friends and family are praying for the best outcome possible. The family had no definite answers during the week she laid in the hospital. .
Samantha and Kaleb need help with the cost of the funeral and an attorney to settle their moms affairs. Michigan does not provide death benefits on a motorcycle which leaves them without assistance to pay for these costs.
This fund was created by the family to help Samantha and Kaleb during this tragic loss.
