Ely High School Gym Audio System

The Ely Hoop Club, a 401c3 non-profit group comprised of basketball parents, has undertaken many projects over the years.  Many of these projects include purchases to improve the school gymansium.  As a result the gym has seen updates over the past few years.  This includes new wall pads, scoreboard system, scoretable, team chairs and side backboards.  Many of these projects have been purchased by the Hoop Club through its various fundraising efforts.

We are now asking for your help in purchasing a new audio system for the high school gymansium.

The gym is used for many things, including basketball, volleyball, dance shows, pep fests, and various school & community events.  A properly functioning audio system is required to help make these events successful.  The current system is old.  Because of this, speaker quality is poor and the system cuts in and out.

The school and the community need a new audio system for the gym as we continue to invest the education of our children in the Ely area.  We need your help to make this a reality.  An Ely business, Custom Theaters, has put together a custom system for the gym.  This includes quality speakers for sound clarity,   controller and wireless microphones.  There will be a docking station to play music.  We plan on installing the new system in the summer of 2017 when school is not in session so that it is ready for the start of school this fall.
