Elrod Family "Help" Fund

This is my Dad Charles and my step mother Mona Elrod. They are in great need at this time in their lives and I've created this page so that friends, family and even strangers can HELP them if felt led to do so.
My dad is 76 years old and my step mom is 70 years old. My mom Vera died of colon cancer when she was only 55 years old. My step mom Mona has been fighting breast cancer for almost 5 years now. In that time, it has spread to one lung and to a place on a bone. She may have to make the decision to stop taking chemotherapy because of the havoc it continues to reak on her body. They need money as soon as possible to pay for other forms of treatment and medicine that insurance will not pay for. She stays very sick from the chemo and unfortuately has lost all of her hair. The chemo also paralyzed one of her vocal chords so she can barely talk at all.
They do not have much money in the form of retirement or social security income. It is barely enough to even get by. Dad is trying to still work a sales job that pays very little but due to the severity of the arthritis in his knees, he can only stand for about 5-10 minutes at a time, much less walk any distance without extreme pain. So I dont know how much longer he will be able to work and they have to have the income from his job! Presently, he is not able to drive his car due to mechanical problems that they can't afford to fix.
We, Dad and Mona and I, would appreciate any amount you can afford or feel led to donate in order to help them with all the expenses they are facing (medicine, medical bills, food, electric bill, rent, car repairs and just daily neccessities).
