SPONSOR A SENIOR -- EL PUENTE HIGH SCHOOL DUAL CREDIT EARNING PROGRAM
El Puente High School has been serving "at-risk" youth in Milwaukee since 1997. El Puente’s curriculum and program are designed to prepare students to move into a university setting, technical training or full-time employment. El Puente is operated by TransCenter for Youth, Inc., a nonprofit organization in Milwaukee WI dedicated to providing high-quality educational opportunities for at-risk and other youth. To realize this mission, TransCenter operates a portfolio of five innovative urban schools.
Students at El Puente are exposed to opportunities to help them reach their fullest potentials. One such program in partnership with MATC (Milwaukee Area Technical College) allows qualified juniors and seniors to earn dual-credits.
Six graduates of the Class of 2016 will not only receive a high school diploma, but will also receive college credits! Many of these graduates are not only the first in their families to graduate from high school, but now graduate high school with college credits.

Our goal is to raise an additional $15,000 which will allow us to expand the program to include 20 additional juniors and seniors to earn up to 3 college credits as they complete their high school diploma.
