Elm Street Fire

Donation protected
On Sunday, March 12th the home of Caity Barnes, Molly Evans, Anders Entrikin, Taylor Ruff and Chandler King caught on fire. Thankfully they are all safe, but the house and everything inside is a complete loss. Please help us raise money to get these five girls back on their feet!

Here's a post from Caity Barnes:
"Today the unimaginable happened. While doing my load of laundry from spring break, sitting on the couch with my boyfriend we began to smell smoke. Upon entering the kitchen we noticed the dryer was smoking, turned it off and took everything out. Within a couple minutes there was smoke coming from different sources. We called 911, and they arrived quickly. The vent had gotten lint and caused the crawl space, insulation, etc. from underneath the house to catch on fire and then it spread up. I was the only one of my roommates that had arrived home from spring break. Which wa
s a blessing because none of their dogs were inside, no one was there napping, the list goes on. I am thankful for many things right now- I'm thankful that Jp Mclaughlin was with me and noticed the smell first, and stayed with me all day and had been so so helpful. I'm thankful for my friends that rushed over to make sure I was ok while I watched my house smoke for 3 hours, I'm thankful my mom and sister drove from Raleigh to be with me. Although I lost a lot today, I did not lose anything that can't be replaced and for that I am MOST thankful."
