Elliott Family House Fire

Donation protected

Tragic events have hit the Elliott family hard in the last few months. First, Ashtyn's father was told he had cancer and was having to have radiation treatments 5 days a week in fort worth, then on his final week of treatment their house caught fire while everyone was sleeping. Luckily their dog woke them up and they were able to get out but everything is gone. This family has not asked for a dime in either circumstance but with our help as a community maybe we can get them back on their feet.

"There isn’t really anything left, what is left is smoke or water damaged...

Yesterday after both fires had been put out i went to the house to see all the damage, from the front of the house it doesn’t look like much damage was done, so i thought okay, good.
Well when i opened the door, what a completely different story it was, in the midst of looking at everything i looked up, up to see the only “decoration” in the living room left (pictured below)
The sign reads underneath all the suit, “GRATEFUL, THANKFUL, BLESSED” and boy are we SO MUCH of all three of those words above. I knew that morning when i got all three of us out, that we were that, but seeing that sign brought me to tears, good tears, God had/has all three of us AND each and everyone of you in the palm of his hand, ALWAYS...

For everyone that has asked what happened or wants to know, early Tuesday morning Wilder’s little puppers “spanky” was laying in bed with me, i woke up to him pawing me, and that point i could see the inside of the kitchen and living room glowing, glitzee (my puppers) was standing there with the most scared look in her eyes, i could see it that’s how bright the flames were glowing, i got up and couldn’t see any smoke, (wilders room and my dad’s room, are on the back of the house, both doors were shut praise God, because it helped with their rooms not immediately going up in flames) i put spanky on the ground, ran to my dad’s room, and got him up and out at that point (due to chemo/radiation my dad can’t smell much of anything, he had no idea his room was on fire) i was already on the phone with 911, i then ran into wilder’s roomed grabbed my most precious gift ever, and his blanket and we all three made into out of the house(along with glitzee and spanky) once we made it out, the fire traveled inside, the propane tank and grill exploded 2 minutes after us getting out the door...
our first respond team was great in assisting us and our neighbors were so so helpful too, for those that have asked yes there were 2 dogs and 7 puppies out back, unfortunately one of the dogs and 2 of the puppies did not make it ( THEY HAVE BEEN PROPERLY BURIED) as for the other 5 puppies they have been taken to YCHS, they are available for adoption, chocolate lab/ blue heeler mix! They are the sweetest and most loving dogs and have been around wilder lots! For those asking you can go out there to adopt one or if you can’t adopt donations can be made to them ❤️
Paislee is okay and is with my dad.

The 2nd fire started around 8 and no one was in the house, praise God.

I can not thank each and everyone of you enough for the love y’all have shown, nothing has gone unnoticed, i can promise you that!
A lot of you have asked if y’all can do anything, pray for us as we continue to move past this, for those of you that have asked please contact, Melanie Riley and Meggan Edwards for additional donations.

For those asking about my dad and treatments, he does finish those this week❤️❤️

Again thanking each and everyone of you from the very bottoms of our heart for all the love, cares and prayers❤️
-with much love The Elliott family"
