Ellicott City Bridges

My name is Dave Fullarton.  I live on New Cut Road in Ellicott City, Maryland. On May 27, 2018, extreme flash flooding destroyed several private bridges and damaged driveways and property leading to homes on our road. These bridges are NOT maintained by the state or the county and replacement is solely the responsibility of the homeowners.  Unfortunately, neither homeowners nor flood insurance will cover bridges or roadways. Aside from any unlikely government assistance, the cost to replace the structures will be borne solely by the homeowners. Because the creeks and rivers in the area are tributaries of the Chesapeake Bay, everything associated with such construction must be approved by numerous agencies at the federal, state, and the county levels. This fund is intended to help myself and my neighbors, who own properties near mine and were devastated by this storm. Any funds collected will user to help pay for temporary bridging and permanent replacements. Any donations are gratefully appreciated!
