VOLUNTEERING IN FIJI (Think Pacific Foundation)

Hi, I'm Elizabeth. I'm a 20 year old philosophy student at the University of Exeter. 

I'm raising money to volunteer in Fiji with the Think Pacific Foundation, where I will be teaching English and sport to school children. 

In order to raise money I intended on doing the following:

- Tough Mudder 
- Sponsored silence
- Pimms Stand
- 15 hour (stationery) cycle

Your generous donation will not only enable me to complete such important and rewarding work but also give Think Pacific the means to:

- Replenish school resources,
- Provide teacher training,
- Rebuild essential facilities 
- Invest in local businesses
- Increase literacy and school attendance for Fijian children. 

This is a responsibility I shall take very seriously. 75% of Fijian children live below the poverty line, with only 5% gaining an early education. 

So far Think Pacific has achieved some incredible feats. Since 2009 they  have reopened two schools; invested 1 million Fijian dollars into the community; provided 11 health clinics and a fresh water system; provided education and sporting actives to 20,000 children. 

With your help, I can be a part of this life-changing project.
