Please help some of our very beloved friends. We’ve known Danielle (Kirkpatrick) and Jerry Kistler for 20+ years. As a young family, they moved from CA to Montrose CO where Jerry accepted a job as the Rector at St Stephens Anglican Church and Danielle teaches 6th grade.
In August 2018, one of their 12 year old twins, Elizabeth, was diagnosed with uncontrolled Ulcerative Colitis (UC). She has since spent a total of 45 days in Children’s Hospital in Denver - 6 hours away from home in Montrose. The most recent hospitalization for severe uncontrolled UC and a c-diff infection resulted in complicated emergency surgery.
In the next year Elizabeth will face many medical challenges, the largest being two additional surgeries requiring substantial stays at Children’s Hospital in Denver again, as well as weekly follow up appointments with various specialists.
As much as the Kistler family doesn’t want to publicize Elizabeth’s medical situation or ask for help ... the reality is that financial help and prayers would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!
