It's a peaceful 50 acre ranch in East Texas called Divine Acres Ranch. It is a Christ-centered retreat for families with children who suffer from autism. These families have no place to go. They've been asked to leave restaurants, hotels and even churches because most people simply don't understand the children's behavior.

Imagine, for a moment, that your child wasn't really "welcome" in most public places. That is what the parents of autistic children live with every day. Some of them haven't been on a vaction in over a decade...

However, Elijah's Retreat truly understands the needs of families facing Autism. It was built to provide them a safe-haven. A place to finally relax and know they are understood and accepted.

It is one of only a handful such retreats in the United States and is at risk of having to close it's doors without financial support.
