Hello everyone,
In November at our Annual Gala, I shared about my desire to serve the homeless at a concierge level. I challenged those in attendance to think about some companies that serve their customers at a concierge level. For me, its the Ritz Carlton, from what I hear and observe from viewing their website online (I’ve never stayed there), they seem to get it right. I mean, read their motto for customer service (Gold Standards) below:
"The Ritz-Carlton Hotel is a place where the genuine care and comfort of our guests is our highest mission."
"We pledge to provide the finest personal service and facilities for our guests who will always enjoy a warm, relaxed, yet refined ambiance."
"The Ritz-Carlton experience enlivens the senses, instills well-being, and fulfills even the unexpressed wishes and needs of our guests."
No mention of God, but a God standard.
Many of our faith-based organizations have faith-based missions; missions that reference God, but don’t have God standards. That’s what I believe is missing from the ministry to this resilient group: a God standard/ a concierge approach. Good News Partners seeks to offer a concierge level of service to those who find themselves in a season of transitional living. That said, the Ritz Carlton is hosting an immersive learning experience, "Service Excellence Culture" and I need to be there!!
This learning experience explores The Ritz-Carlton "Gold Standards" and their role in driving employee and customer engagement. I need your help to send me there, so that I can learn everything I need to know to serve our “customers” at a concierge level. All of the raised funds will cover the expenses of this experience and help us raise our level of standards to God's Standards.
$4,050 pays for the cost of the conference
$1,020 pays for the hotel stay during the conference
$430 pays for a roundtrip airline ticket
