We are a group of friends and family that love the John and Elaine May Family dearly: John, Elaine, Courtney 16 yrs and Jenn 13 yrs.
Elaine May was driving her daughter, Jenn, home from Ft Lauderdale Select soccer practice when she was hit by another car. Tragically, Elaine died instantly and Jenn was seriously injured in the accident on Monday, March 20, 2017. Even with health insurance, they will incur many medical related expenses in the weeks and months to come.
Elaine, an artist, was Manager of Identity and Image Elements at AutoNation. She leaves behind the shattered hearts of her sole mate and husband, John, daughters, Courtney and Jennifer.
We are reaching out to raise funds that will be used for the health, education, and well being of the May children. Courtney is a junior at Cardinal Gibbons who runs track and cross country. Jenn is an 8th grader at St Coleman who plays soccer for Ft Lauderdale Select.
John and Elaine have been wonderful friends to so many, for so long. They are true "givers" to their community, to their schools, to their church. John has been a volunteer Coach to Gibbons and St Coleman Cross Country and Track for many years. John and Elaine have always been among the first to dontate their time and talents to the community. Always giving, John would never ask a soul to give, so we are, his friends and family. We are asking the community now, to help this family during this tragic time.
