El puestecito de Nora, Julia y Luis

(Español abajo) Hello everyone, we are Nora, Julia and Luis. You might recognise us because we were working in the Laguna de Apoyo, in Nicaragua, until recently. Due to the current situation in the country, or, at least, the version of the situation that is being portrayed in international news, tourism has abandoned our beautiful country, and we now find ourselves without a job. In spite of this, we haven´t lost hope (or our smiles!). We have decided that we are not going to let ourselves get caught up in pessimism, and that, instead, we are going to fight to survive. Thus, we have combined our savings and jointly bought a street vendor cart. Unfortunately the hospitals in our country do not supply patients or their families with even the most basic items like coffee, toilet paper, diapers... they must obtain them outside the hospital. For this reason, we would like to set up a little stall where we could sell such necessary items. We are asking for help in order to fix up the stall, and to be able to buy the things we need to sell. Whether or not you know us, if you decide to put your two cents into our project, we will be eternally grateful. We send you love and light that these days seem to be missing, not only here in Nicaragua. Hola amigos.  Somos Nora, Julia y Luis. Puede que nos conozcas porque trabajábamos en la Laguna de Apoyo en Nicaragua.  Debido a la situación del país, o , mejor dicho, a las noticias que se están transmitiendo internacionalmente sobre la situación en el país, el turismo ha dejado de visitar nuestro hermoso lugar y nos hemos quedado sin trabajo.  A pesar de eso no hemos perdido la esperanza ni la sonrisa.  Hemos  decidido que no nos vamos a dejar llevar por el pesimismo y que vamos a luchar por sobrevivir, por ello, hemos juntado los ahorros de los tres y hemos comprado un carrito de venta ambulante.  Desgraciadamente los hospitales de nuestro país no abastecen a los enfermos ni a sus familiares con cosas básicas como café, papel higiénico, pañales...   por lo que han de adquirirlo fuera del hospital. Por eso hemos pensado que podríamos poner un puestecito donde vender todas estás cosas.  Os pedimos ayuda para arreglar el carrito y para poder comprar las primeras cosas que vender.  Tanto si nos conoces como si no y has decidido poner tu granito de arena en nuestro proyecto , te estaremos eternamente agradecidos.   Os mandamos toda la luz y el amor que estos días faltan, no solo aquí, en Nicaragua.
