Memorial Fund for Kevin Reddick

This is a NIGHTMARE that hits home for so many. Kevin Reddick was tragically gunned down and killed. He was a loving son to his parents, a loving father to his daughter, a loving boyfriend to his girlfriend who is also the mother of his child, a loving brother to his brothers and sisters, a loving uncle to his nieces and nephews, and a loving friend to all those who knew him, especially to the younger youths in the neighbourhood he grew up in. On the day he was killed, Kevin went by his old neighbourhood (Parma Court) to workout and had just finished playing basketball at the recreation centre with the younger kids, then was outside at the park, sitting and eating lunch with a childhood friend after they had just bought lunch from Harvey’s. While they were eating, two men rolled up with guns, all masked up and shot him multiple times. Kevin was never involved in gang related activities, he wasn’t that kind of person, he was cool with everyone, he never had problems with anybody, he always showed love and dap everyone, no matter who it was, he was just a very friendly person, a good guy, he did not deserve this. To clear things up, because the media is saying something different. Yes, this could have been and most likely is gang related or turf war, retaliation, whatever it may be, or whatever you want to call it, however, Kevin was NOT in a gang and he was not targeted, it’s basically whoever they saw that day, they were shooting them, this was a senseless act and Kevin was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. Kevin loved his neighbourhood that he grew up in, and loved going back and conversing with the younger youths and childhood friends, playing basketball at the recreation centre with the younger youths and working out, which was the ONLY reason why he was there on the day his life was taken away tragically from him.

Kevin leaves behind, his mom/dad, his brothers/sisters, his nieces/nephews, his cousins and friends, but most notable, he leaves behind a loving girlfriend and an adorable four year-old daughter who are now both lost without him. His four year-old daughter is now fatherless and has to grow up without a dad, his little girl loved her dad, he was her everything, her super hero as she called him, he did everything with his daughter, you never saw Kevin and she was not with him, he was such a good father to his little girl. Kevin worked jobs in the construction and landscaping field.

While Kevin's death marks the end of his journey, it is only the beginning of a very long, painful, and challenging road ahead for his young family. They will need help with all the associated costs of losing a loved one and to ensure a more secure future for his daughter. They will need a new home and ongoing therapy to help them cope with and process this loss in a healthy manner and there is the heartbreaking reality that Kevin is no longer here to provide for his daughter. I am the brother in-law of the deceased, Kevin Reddick. I created this campaign is to help raise monetary donation to help with the funeral cost as well as creating the future for his daughter that he wasn't able to complete. The beneficiary of this campaign is Emily Reddick, the mother of Kevin Reddick.
