Please help us save Princess!
We have been doing our best for Princess since Angels of Animals was founded - you could say she's our oldest rescue! Princess is a free-roaming feral cat who has had the most wonderful caregiver for all of her adult life. For four years, we tried to trap and spay her, as she had litter after litter of kittens. And for four years, she evaded every single effort to trap her! We finally caught her about 8 years ago, and once she finished nursing her babies, we had her spayed. She did not enjoy the indoor life, so she returned to the only home she has ever known, where she has been happy, sheltered, healthy, and well-cared for.
Recently, her caregiver noticed something wasn't right, and convinced her to come indoors. Princess has a tumor THE SIZE OF A GRAPEFRUIT, most likely on her spleen. The surgery is complicated, but we have to take the chance to give Princess the chance we would give to any other cat. Dr. Scriffignano and Dr. Stock will be performing this difficult surgery this Thursday, March 14th at Verona Animal Hospital.
Your donation will go directly to Princess' hospital bill. We are hoping that after a successful surgery, we will be able to find a home where Princess can spend her remaining time indoors, where she will be warm, comfortable, and loved.
