A veteran needs help with money. Loneliness and injuries has caught up with him, and he is hurting. He has lost his way and reached out for help. Gambling has gotten the better of him for now. He is getting some of the help that he needs in January, he's been admitted into an inpatient program for PTSD, but needs our help to get him there.
He is a 2x Afghanistan veteran, and has more than earned this helping hand. Catching people at this stage is far better than reading about them when they hit rock bottom. The sooner this burden can be taken off his shoulders, the sooner he can focus on his recovery.
The funds raised will be used to cover his financial obligations for December. The money will be sent directly to the people he owes, to keep him safe from both his financial and personal issues.
The time is now to help him, not later.
His name will be kept private because it could be any one of us in the future. He will need it clean when it's time to rebuild himself.
