Originally from Goirtin in Co. Tyrone, Eimir Mc Swiggan has been competing in the UIAA Ice Climbing World Cup for the past four seasons.

Eimir began competition ice climbing when she moved to South-Korea to live and work. Eimir showed an amazing work ethic and attitude, Eimir was adopted by the local competition ice climbing family, and has trained and competed at the highest level in South-Korea.

Eimir has worked hard not only to improve her performace but also to fund her training and competing at a international level. Eimir's performances have been a source of pride and inspiration to the Irish climbing community. This crowdfunding campaign is an opportunity for the Irish climbing community to help support Eimir in a very tangible way.
