Karate Mats for Children

$2,830 of $25,000 goal

Contemporary Martial Arts was hit by an unexpected 8-10 inches of rain on September 8th, 2014 that accumulated within 2-3 hours and then overtook every square inch of our building. Our mats were soaked through and through and now we are left with bare concrete. To replace the mats will cost around $25, 000. We were denied a claim because it was considered a "flood", so we will have to come "out of pocket" in order to get new mats. We need YOUR help to get CMA up and running again!

It's been less than a week since Carolina and I have asked for help from our friends and family with replacing the flooring/mats that was ruined by water on September 8th. I have to say that we have laughed, cried and have been just plain speechless by the love, support and donations. She and I both made it to adulthood through rough times as children, we both struggled and worked HARD for 18 years to build the BEST martial arts school in the area by teaching from our hearts. We never once considered taking the easy road & NEVER considered sacrificing our morals/ethics just to make an extra dollar. The response we have had over our current dilemma has been extremely humbling and sometimes hard to accept. We are blessed beyond compare to have such great people in our lives. THANK YOU ALL!!
