Egyptology Certificate

I have been interested in ancient Egypt since I was very young, in my teens I had decided that this was my career goal. Ancient Egypt had become my life, my passion and Egyptology my dream. 

I hit quite a few snags as I attempted to start my career.

You can say they were quite a logos pot holes and detours on the road to my career. At times it became very disheartening but I could never let go of my dream. I have worked hard to get back on the road and I am finally on it once more. However far I have come, there is still quite a ways to go. And to get further down the road I need a full tank, I am able to fill it in small portions. So here I am asking for assistance in filling it the rest of the way, lightening my burden and helping me reach my destination.

Sorry for the car analogy but it was the best way to describe the past ten years of my life :)



I will be contributing as much of my paycheck as I can at the end of the week, after bills are paid of course ;)

The majority of funding will go to the following two categories:

Field School- I have been recently been accepted to a field school in Egypt. This is a dream come true. The fees for field school are $4000.00 room and board are provided. The field school is in association with Pennsylania State University Canadian Institute in Egypt


School- I am currently studying for my certificate in Egyptology from the University of Manchester. Since the school is based in the UK I am unable to apply for financial aid and pay tuition out of pocket.





As a student of Egyptology any additional funds raised will also go to:

Research- including trips and fees museums and fees to lectures.

Website hosting-I have three websites. One dedicated to my personal research and journey to my career. One is going to be a website for research and resources on all things ancient Egypt and Egyptology. And the last is a fun website about my stuffed mummy that travels with me, it contains photos and stories of his adventures along with fun fats about ancient Egypt.

Projects- I have a few side projects going linked to my passion for ancient Egypt. One of the main projects I am focused on is designing and handmaking toys and games that are aimed to inspire interest in ancient Egypt. I have two board games designed, two card games and some dolls and stuffed animals all ancient Egypt themed. I only have the rough drafts/prototypes made up at this time. But funding would help me buy the supplies needed to make a few of each and set up an online shop.
