Help Three Syrian kids go to school
A few months ago I met Mohsen Alwais while in the Netherlands. He is a Syrian refugee who risked his life to save a Dutch man from drowning in an Amsterdam canal. Mohsen is a bioengineer. However, he is unable to find a job due to the refusal of many companies to hire refugees. The rest of Mohsen's family are in Kuwait at the moment, and are still unable to join him in the Netherlands. His two sisters and brother have 3 weeks to cover school cost or be expelled. I have offered to start this campaign on behalf of Mohsen to help his siblings remain in school. Mariam is 14, Abdullah is 11 years old, and Jawaher is 16 years old.
I spent a few days with Mohsen and was fortunate enough to be able to film him telling his story as part of the "I Am Your Protector" campaign. What inspired me about him is that he is one of the most generous, brave, and genuine people I have ever met. He spends most of his time helping other refugees in the Netherlands and works tirelessly to build bridges between refugees and the Dutch people. He has been honored for his bravery by the mayor of Amsterdam, among others.
I have received and reviewed the school invoices from Mohsen for the three kids, and will send the money to Mohsen's family via western union (I will personally pay the fees for wiring the money) as soon as we meet our goal. Thank you so much for helping out!
