Educate Njabulo
I'm Nikki - an Aussie expat who has lived in Australia, Hong
Kong, South Africa and now the USA over the past ten years.
Njabulo is 17 years old and lives in Durban, South
Africa. He attends Rossburgh High School
and is doing his Matriculation (final examinations) this year.
His mother Cindy was our housekeeper in South Africa for the
three years that we lived there from 2009-2012. In March 2013 Cindy passed
away from cancer at the age of 34. She
was diagnosed and died within three months, a very quick, painful and difficult
illness.
Cindy's greatest dream was for Njabulo to obtain education
that she wasn't able to. We spoke often
of how she wanted Njabulo to be able to graduate from High School and attend
University.
Njabulo needs $600 to pay his current school fees so he
is able to receive his Matriculation Certtificate at the end of the year.
Grades are withheld until fees are paid in full.
Once his exams are completed Njabulo would like to attend University
to study. We would like to help make this happen and are working towards this
goal. We are hoping to include payment for his studies and offer if and where
possible a mentor and support system for him.
Our first target is the USD600 to pay Rossburgh High School in
Durban so that Njabulo can graduate.
Please join our family in helping to educate Njabulo.
