I currently pastor McConnell Road Baptist Church, an independent baptist congregation in Greensboro, NC.
To better serve the people I'm honored to pastor, I want to continue my pursuit of an M.Div, the "professional" degree for pastors and preachers. I've been accepted into the M.Div. program at Bob Jones University (Greenville, SC) and should be able to complete most of the coursework via online courses.
Since I'm unable to cover the course costs, I'm looking to the Lord to provide one course at a time, one semester at a time. If you'd like to be part of my ministry and used of God in this way, I'd really appreciate it.
This money will cover the cost of tuition and books for one, three-hour course to begin in January. The course will either be "Foundations of Counseling" or Part 1 of "Systematic Theology."
If I'm able to reach or exceed my goal and I'm able to complete the coursework, I'll revisit this model for future semesters. If you invest in my education, I'd be more than happy to provide updates on what I'm learning and how I put the education to use.
